Equifax 3 in 1 Credit Report Monitoring

Equifax may be only one of the three major credit reporting agencies, but it actually offers credit report monitoring for all of them. Among the many superb Equifax credit information services is 3 in 1 credit report monitoring (or "3-in-1 Monitoring") which will notify within 24 hours of any time there's a change to your 3 in 1 credit report, be it a change from Eqiuifax itself or its contemporaries Experian and Transunion.

In today's day and age, when credit card fraud and identity theft are rampant, each of us needs to stay on top of our 3 in 1 credit report. We need to know what each of them contain and we need to know when something is added, deleted, changed - primarily so we can be sure that we were the ones (and not some malicious stranger) whose actions necessitated the change.

As an Equifax credit information services customer receiving 3 in 1 credit report monitoring, you will have unlimited access to a web-based interface that neatly lays out a variety of crucial information for managing your 3 in 1 credit report.

From the main interface on your credit report:

  • a Daily Alert window shows you each new action (such as New Inquiries, New Addresses, New Accounts, Bankruptcies, New Tax Liens, New Judgments, New Collections, or changes to any of these) sorted by credit bureau (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion). It shows you the date of the action and the type of action with a link to further details.

When you click over for further details you'll find a table of all alerts and the creditor that reported the change, sortable by most recent to oldest, oldest to most recent, type of alert, or credit bureau. You can even click on individual alerts for even greater detail, including the account number, date opened, date reported, and comments.

Click on the actual creditor's name on your credit report and you'll see even more details about your history with that company, including company contact info, date of last activity, highest credit amount, type of credit, rate, terms, current balance, and past due history.

An Alerts Archive is also accessible from this window for reviewing all past changes to your 3 in 1 credit report (since becoming an Equifax credit information services customer, that is).

  • An Alert Preferences window that summarizes: Balance Percent Change, Balance Dollar Amount Change, Dormant Card Activity, and Wireless Alert Activity.

  • A Credit Reports window that allows you to directly access printable versions of both your Equifax credit report and your 3 in 1 credit report - in their entirety.

You can even get 3 in 1 credit report monitoring for your entire family with a specially discounted Equifax 3 in 1 credit report monitoring family program.
